For a Friend

And when waves of uncertainty rock your vessel, do not fear and turn your side to life’s harsh crests, inviting her to smash your hull and sweep away your cargo of dreams! Nay, instead tack your billowing sails, steady your keel and steel your crew, for the only true course is headlong into the inky lashing gale!

Let hope be the cleaving maidenhead that parts vengeful crests! Let no spiteful wind roll you under, no baleful thunder shatter your resolve, and no Leviathan wave drown you, for you are greater than this storm and all its forbears! For while soon winds will calm and ocean will still, you alone shall endure into the dawn!

So when clouds blacken, winds rise and the maelstrom brews, do not fear what lies ahead! For while this storm will not be the last or least that you shall see, it will be one more you have survived! And when fair daylight shines upon you again, raise your sails once more and depart for distant shores!

Your voyage is not yet done.
